Rejuran Healer delivers polynucleotide (PN) — purified DNA fragments extracted from salmon — into the skin to restore the environment the dermis works in. It is not a filler: nothing is being shaped or added as volume.

What PN is, and what it is not
Polynucleotide is a chain of purified DNA fragments obtained from salmon. It is a biocompatible material — the body does not treat it as a foreign object — and it is placed in the skin to improve the conditions inside it rather than to sit under a line and hold it up.
That distinction matters when you are choosing between treatments. A filler occupies space and changes shape on the day. Rejuran works on skin quality: texture, oil-water balance, the resilience of skin that has been thinned by repeated lasers or years of sun. The change is cumulative, which is why it is planned as a short course rather than a single visit.

Rejuran is planned as a course at 3–4 week intervals. The pattern below is what we describe at consultation; response varies between individuals.

The material is only half of it. The route it takes into the skin changes both comfort and evenness, so the doctor chooses the route at consultation.

Questions we are asked most
Is Rejuran a filler?
No. A filler adds volume and changes shape. Rejuran places polynucleotide in the skin to improve its condition — texture, moisture balance and resilience. If you want a change in contour, that is a different conversation.
Can I fly home the same day?
Yes. The treatment takes 10 to 20 minutes and you can return to normal activity straight away. With needle delivery, small raised bumps are normal and usually absorb within about a day; with Mirajet there are none to wait out.
How many sessions will I need?
Rejuran is normally planned as a course at 3–4 week intervals, with the number decided at consultation. If your stay in Korea is short, we plan around the dates you actually have and discuss what can be done on a later visit.
Does it hurt?
Sensation depends on the delivery route as much as the material. Mirajet is needle-free; the automated injector keeps the speed constant; Rejuran HB contains lidocaine. Topical anaesthetic cream is applied as standard and an inhaled comfort option is available.
Can it be combined with other treatments?
Frequently, yes. Rejuran is one of the materials we combine within a Symphony Custom Booster session, and it is often planned alongside lifting treatments. What is combined, and in what order, is decided at consultation.
