Medical Skincare
Clinic-side skincare, chosen from what the skin measures
Medical Skincare combines two or more modalities in one session — extraction, ultrasound, oxygen, LED, RET radiofrequency — so a single visit does more than one thing. For patients travelling for a procedure, it is also how the skin is conditioned before and settled afterwards.
※ The final plan and cost are confirmed by your physician after an in-person examination at the clinic. Results and recovery vary by individual.

What medical skincare means here
Every programme on this page is run inside the clinic, by skin specialists working in a dermatology setting, with the analysis and the plan coming from the medical team. That is the practical difference from a facial: the starting point is a measurement of your skin, not a menu chosen at a counter.
Two or more modalities are combined in a single session. It shortens the total time, but the real reason is sequence — extraction before oxygen, ultrasound before an ampoule, LED at the end to calm what has just been worked on. One step prepares the skin for the next.
Three things the programme depends on
Three programme families
The clinic groups its programmes by what the skin needs, not by price tier. Course names are the clinic's own.
The shape of a session
The middle changes between programmes; the frame does not.
- 01Cleansing and deep cleansingThe surface is cleared first. Nothing that follows works properly through make-up residue and built-up keratin.
- 02The core stepThis is what differs by programme — sebum clearing with a scrubber, RET radiofrequency, a brightening peel, an oxygen whipping mask, or a peptide ampoule driven by ultrasound.
- 03LED lightInfrared LED and IR wavelengths are used on skin that has just been worked on, to support calming and recovery.
- 04Calming gel maskThe skin is held steady while it settles from the core step.
- 05FinishingA second soothing mask, an oxygen ion dome, or a modelling mask, depending on the programme.
Conditioning before, recovery after
The same programmes are used on both sides of a procedure, for different reasons and at different times.
| Before a procedure | After a procedure | |
|---|---|---|
| Timing | 2–3 days ahead, or on the same day. | Usually from one week after. |
| Purpose | Clear the surface and steady the barrier, so the procedure meets skin in a consistent condition. | Support circulation and regeneration while swelling and sensitivity settle. |
| Typical choice | Sebum Clearance Care. | Repair & Lifting Care. |
| Who it is for | Skin that arrives congested, dry or travel-tired. | Skin that cannot be cleansed normally in the days after a procedure. |

Questions we are asked most
How is this different from a facial at a spa?
The starting point and the setting. The skin is measured first and the programme is built by the medical team, the session runs in a dermatology clinic under its hygiene protocol, and the modalities used — RET radiofrequency, iontophoresis, LDM — are clinic equipment rather than salon equipment.
I have four days in Seoul. How many sessions is realistic?
Usually one. Most short-stay patients have a single session as conditioning before their procedure. The weekly cadence is designed as a course, which suits patients staying longer or returning — we will tell you which of the two your trip actually allows.
Can I have this on the same day as a laser or lifting treatment?
Conditioning before the procedure is often done on the same day, ahead of it. Whether a care session can follow a procedure on the same day depends on what was done; your doctor confirms that at consultation.
My skin is sensitive. Which programme would I be given?
That is decided after the skin is measured, not before. Low-irritant professional skincare lines are used, and sponges and personal items are single-use. If a programme is not appropriate for your skin on the day, we say so and change it.
Can I keep it up at home?
The products and the order used in your session are written down for you, so your routine at home is consistent with what was done here. Home care supports a course; it does not replace the session.
※ Skin responds differently between individuals; the programme, the frequency and the result vary by person, and no outcome is guaranteed. Suitability is confirmed by your doctor at consultation. If you experience irritation, pain, swelling or any symptom that does not settle, please seek care at a medical institution near you.
