How should I have the treatment for good results?
We recommend 2–3 DCA injection sessions spaced at least a month apart.
How long do the treatment and recovery take?
A session takes about 10–20 minutes, and you can return to daily life right after.
When can I see results?
Improvement in a double chin may be seen from about a month after treatment.
What should I be careful about after treatment?
Pain, swelling and light bruising can occur after treatment, and these usually subside on their own.Note, however, that because DCA breaks down fat cells, swelling can last more than a week.Swelling occurs during DCA's core process: "fat cell breakdown – clearing of fat cell debris – collagen production".It is also advisable to avoid high heat after treatment, such as saunas, jjimjilbang, hot baths and heat packs.
