Juvelook
PDLLA and hyaluronic acid, sized to the layer being treated
Juvelook combines PDLLA — a biodegradable, biocompatible polymer — with hyaluronic acid. The PDLLA prompts your own collagen to form over the following weeks; the HA settles the skin in the meantime. What makes it useful in practice is that it comes in four particle sizes, so the same material can be placed anywhere from the upper dermis to the subcutaneous layer.
※ The final plan and cost are confirmed by your physician after an in-person examination at the clinic. Results and recovery vary by individual.

Two materials, two jobs
PDLLA (Poly D,L-lactide) is a biodegradable, biocompatible polymer approved for use in the body. Hyaluronic acid (sodium hyaluronate) is a natural polysaccharide already present in human skin tissue. Together they work as a hybrid: the HA gives an immediate settling of the skin, while the PDLLA does the slower work of stimulating collagen production.
The particle itself is the second half of the design. Juvelook's particles are porous with a mesh-like internal structure, small and round — which is why nodules are less likely to form. Products built as hollow spheres with thick shell walls do not behave the same way as particles inside tissue. Being biodegradable, the material is broken down and cleared from the body over time, leaving effectively no residue behind; what remains is the collagen your skin made.
How the result builds
- 01Placed between dermis and fatJuvelook is injected into the layer between the dermis and the fat tissue, at areas where volume has been lost or wrinkles have formed.
- 02PDLLA breaks downAs the PDLLA component degrades, it activates the formation of collagen and other new tissue around it.
- 03Skin restoration appearsThe restorative change becomes visible from roughly six weeks after the session, and continues from there.
What to expect, and when
Response varies between individuals. This is the pattern we describe at consultation so you know what is normal.
A hyaluronic acid filler, and Juvelook
Both are injectables. They answer different complaints, and patients are often better served by understanding the difference than by choosing a brand.
| Conventional HA filler | Juvelook (PDLLA + HA) | |
|---|---|---|
| What creates the change | The gel itself, holding water in the space where it sits | Collagen your own skin forms around the degrading PDLLA |
| Timing | Volume is present from the day of injection | Restoration appears from around six weeks and develops |
| What remains later | The gel, until the body breaks it down | The particles are biodegraded and cleared; the new collagen remains |
| Typical intent | Restoring a specific contour or volume | Rebuilding skin quality, texture and support across an area |
| Session pattern | Single session, topped up when it fades | Usually a course at 3–4 week intervals |
Four particle sizes, four concerns
The lineup is not a good–better–best ladder. Each size exists because a different layer needs treating.
Composition, side by side
Why the choice matters more than the product
Four sizes across four depths means the plan can be wrong even when the product is right. This is the part we take time over.
Questions we are asked most
Will I see a difference on the day?
Skin usually settles from the session itself, but the collagen-driven change is what people are looking for and that appears from around six weeks. If you need a visible result for a specific date, tell us at consultation so the timing can be planned.
How is this different from Collaum?
Both stimulate your own collagen. Juvelook uses PDLLA combined with hyaluronic acid and comes in four particle sizes for different depths; Collaum is a PLLA microsphere product. Which we suggest depends on the layer being treated and how the skin has responded to previous work.
Does the material stay in my body?
No. The particles are biodegradable and are broken down and cleared over time, leaving effectively no residue. The collagen formed around them is your own tissue.
How many sessions will I need?
For the standard formulation, three sessions at four-week intervals is the usual pattern, though this varies by individual. Volume and G formulations are planned differently. The plan is agreed with you before the first session.
Can I fly home the same day?
Yes. Same-day return to normal activity is expected. If the nine-needle injector is used, small even bumps appear and are usually absorbed within about a day.
※ Results, sensation and recovery vary between individuals, and no outcome is guaranteed. Which formulation is used, at what depth and over how many sessions is confirmed by your physician at consultation.

Free, one-on-one, and nothing is decided until you see the plan in person.
